For those of us in the State of Maryland, here are useful Government Links for Unemployment. I have added some other links as well to other services that you may find useful.

Some of these are main links to the services while others may be direct links. You can click on the names below for links to the sites noted.

UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS

• Claimant Info ~ this is where you will find everything you need to know on unemployment insurance and how to get started .
• Initial Claim System ~ this is where you will begin to start your claim for unemployment insurance benefits.
• Webcert ~ is an Internet alternative to the Telecert (telephone) process of filing your continued claims for unemployment benefits.
• CitiBank ~ link to where you can login to review your UI funds

OTHER SERVICES

•  Department of Human Resources
• Food Supplement Program ~ this is where you will sign up for Food Stamp assistance or EDT cards.
• Medical Assistance ~ this is desigend for children under 19 years of age and pregnant women.
• Office of Home Energy Programs (OHEP) ~ setup to help you with your heating and home energy issues.
